Hey all - Here is an update about some things that people have probably been wondering about.


First of all - I know that there are a number of people who have requested to join who haven't been added to watch yet.  This is because the devwatch is buggy.  If you are one of those people, and you happen to read this, your request wasn't rejected, I just can't watch you at the moment (you HAVE been added to the journal and can submit work though).


More importantly - I know it's been a while since this account was updated (again, apologies).

I keep thinking that managing this along with work, AND keeping enough time for my own art/account will be, well, manageable, but then I end up very behind on everything, which isn't fair to the people who have joined.  Now that I've gotten this far into the entry though, don't panic! (yet anyway).  Basically, I wanted to ask if anyone would like to help out with the club a little (I am looking for about 5 people - more than that shouldn't be necessary).

Conditions:  I do have to know you a bit (not necessarily personally, I just mean know you from the site)

I already received a few comments in the past from people willing to do this - I wanted to journal it though, instead of putting people on the spot in any way.  If people ARE still interested though, please note the club OR my other account ~Aerin-Kayne (in case I don't check this one every day)

Basically, club activity is generally light, and staffing would involve logging in to check notes every week or two (this should be fine if it's spread among 5 people or more) to see if anything needs to be done, such as:
adding new members - this just means adding people who request to join to the club devwatch (provided that it's working) and putting their name in the alphabetical 'members journal' entry.
submitting images that members request to be added
Occasionally adding other info, for example commission inquiries to the Commissions jounral entry

Other (you can do it if you want to, but it's not necessary to the club) - adding tattoo info and links for people who might be interested, or adding anything else that you think would be interesting for the club to have (As long as it keeps with the tattoo theme, and also does not break site policies)

I will still be around here (and working on the above things too, when I can), so anyone with questions about the club will be able to contact me either here, or at my other account.  Having several people here doing the same thing though would mean that this club can become more active, which would make it more fun without making anyone feel burdened by it (I don't want it to feel like a job for anyone, and I want members and staffers to get something out of being a part of it).
